Ex-Bruins captain Brad Marchand left speechless after a fan pulls off a controversial gesture towards him

Former Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand has responded in shocking manner to a fan who attended his meet and greet event in Florida this weekend.
Brad Marchand has been through a lot in the month of March, and things oddly just took another turn.
The longtime fan-favorited Bruins forward started off the month on the injury reserve after receiving a controversial hit from Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman PO Joseph.
Marchand appeared in pain and left the game, and little did we all know that would have been his final game with the organization.
Just a week after being injured, the Bruins would ultimately decided to move their captain, being traded while injured after an apparent contract dispute between his agent and GM Don Sweeney.

And now, 'Marchy' has a new nickname?
Panthers fans are taking things a little too far, photoshopping the once beloved Bruins' face onto hearts and naming him... 'the peoples princess'..?
Quite the odd nickname for Marchand, and his reaction said it all when a fan printed out the photo of him, and attempted to get the 36-year old veteran to sign it at a meet and greet.
The fans' post quickly went viral, reaching thousands on social media, have a look:

After she showed Marchand the picture and he was stunned, the girls marker ran out of ink while she had him sign her jersey.
Security opted to decline the girls request to sign the jersey, and Marchand put his foot down.

While Marchand's finally healthy and back on the ice, all Bruins fans can hope for is a healthy post-season stint in Florida with the Panthers, and a potential new nickname... that's not involving 'princess'.
