Patrice Bergeron is undoubtedly one of the greatest to lace them, and in Sunday's game seven, the veteran can make NHL history.
Another Feather in the Cap
Among all the franchise and league accolades that the Bruins captain already holds, he now has the opportunity to tie his predecessor, Zdeno Chara, for an NHL record.
According to Patrick Donnelly of Boston Sports Journal:
''Tonight will be Patrice Bergeron's 14th career Game 7, which will tie him with Zdeno Chara for the most in NHL history.''
In games sevens that Bergeron has appeared in, Boston has a record of 6-7. David Krejci (6-5) and
Brad Marchand (6-4) are also among the ten active skaters in the NHL who have at least game-seven wins.
