The Boston Bruins have been involved in a bunch of trade proposal's this off-season, and the latest ones sees them acquiring a franchise player in Kirill Kaprizov.
Fans are going to see a different looking Boston Bruins team heading into the 2025-26 season.
During the NHL trade deadline, Don Sweeney was a seller, shipping a bunch of key players to new teams, and confirming the Boston Bruins were entering a retool.
Along with that, the Bruins brought in a bunch of new faces during free agency.
Now the latest trade proposal sees the Boston Bruins completing a blockbuster trade with the Minnesota Wild, where they would acquire franchise superstar Kirill Kaprizov.

The franchise winger is entering his final year of his contract with the Minnesota Wild.
It's unclear whether or not Kaprizov is going to re-sign with the Minnesota Wild or not.
There is a good chance that if the two sides are not able to agree on a deal, the Wild would entertain trading him.
With that being said, Heavy.com has proposed a trade between the Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild for the winger.
In the trade it would see the Boston Bruins trading Casey Mittelstadt, Fabian Lysell, a 2026, and 2027 first-round pick, in return for Kirill Kaprizov.

The Boston Bruins are going to have to pay a big price to acquire a winger of his calibre and you can see that in this trade proposal.
Don Sweeney already has 2 first round picks in both 2026, and 2027, and trading away one of them from both years would not hurt them.
It'll be interesting to see how everything unfolds in Minnesota surrounding Kaprizov.
