Three New Head Coaches Have Emerged As Candidates For The Boston Bruins Head Coaching Position
With the Boston Bruins looking to fill their head coaching position in the off-season, there was just three new candidates that surfaced who could land the position for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Early on in the season, the Boston Bruins made the eyebrow raising decision to fire head coach Jim Montgomery.
Montgomery had a very good record as head coach of the Boston Bruins, but because the Bruins got off to a slow start, he was relieved of his duties.
Now the Boston Bruins will be looking to fill their vacant head coaching position in the off-season and three new candidates have emerged.
Three Candidates Emerge For Bruins Head Coaching Position
According to Dan Rosen some big named head coaches have emerged as head coaching possibilities for the Boston Bruins.
Don Sweeney did state that whoever is hired as the next head coach of the Boston Bruins, he will have to have the ability of connecting with younger players, and adapt offensively.

While veteran leadership is appealing, Sweeney emphasized the next coach must connect with younger players and adapt offensively.
Sweeney also went on to state that the structure has to be there, meaning there has to be a balance between being responsible defensively while also finding offense.
