Brad Marchand's Head Coach Paul Maurice Sends A Warning To The Toronto Maple Leafs Ahead Of Game 3

It's safe to say that Paul Maurice is not too happy with how the Florida Panthers have played so far in their series against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Losing two consecutive games means that the Panthers are going to have to be near perfect if they want to come back.

In game two, the Toronto Maple Leafs showed that they are for real this year after being resilient. There was multiple times where they ended up giving up the lead, but they always had a response, and their big guys game to play this year. Marner ended up playing hero for the Leafs scoring the game winning goal in the third period after being tied 3-3 with the Panthers.

Something that's a positive for the Panthers is that Marchand ended up scoring his first goal of the playoffs to give them a lead in the second period, but it only lasted for 15 seconds before Toronto tied it right back up.

Now Paul Maurice has sent the Toronto Maple Leafs a warning leading into game three.

Head coach Paul Maurice knows that if they want to win this series, the small details are going to matter. He's going to have to trust his big players in Marchand, Tkachuk, Bennett and Barkov who have all proven they know what it takes to win a playoff series.
