The Boston Bruins kept things rolling on Sunday as they skated away with a 3-1 win over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
The Bruins are 9-1-0 in their last 10 games and forward Brad Marchand is looking like his old self with five points in the last 3 games and has been all over the ice.
Marchand got things going on Sunday when he got into a bit of scrum which saw him cross checking defenseman Ryan Lindgren in front of the net and was subsequently cross checked by Rangers forward Pavel Buchnevich.
Buchnevich's cross check was much harder than Marchand's as Buchnevich came with so much force that Marchand lost his helmet.
After the game the Bruins' forward was asked about Lindgren and the sequence and Marchand took a couple shots at Lindgren.
"
He's not going to be a player there that's going to have a very long career. I'm not overly concerned with him," said Marchand.
"
Ouch!
