The NHL and Boston Bruins announced Thursday morning that the game between the Florida Panthers and Bruins has been postponed.
The decision was made due to the severe winter storm impacting Boston and the surrounding areas.
The NHL announced that a date and time for the rescheduled game will be announced at a later date.
This is probably good news for the Florida Panthers since the Boston Bruins are absolutely tearing up the NHL right now.
Back in January of 2016, the NHL had to cancel three games because of a sever snowstorm as well.
Over the last couple of years NHL owners have expressed that they would prefer games to be postponed than playing in front of an empty arena.
