Anders Bjork started the season on the Boston Bruins top line, but now the rookie finds himself heading to Rhode Island.
The Bruins just announced that they have assigned Bjork to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League.
Bjork, who has been a healthy scratch for the past two games, has four goals and 12 points in 28 games for the Bruins this season. After scoring a pair of goals on October 19 versus the Vancouver Canucks, Bjork has just one goal and six assists in his last 21 points.
This move does not come as a huge surprise and hopefully the playing down in the AHL level will do him some good. Do you think we will see Anders Bjork back in the NHL before the season ends?
