It has been quite a few days for Harvard University center and Boston Bruins prospect Ryan Donato.

First he was named to the United States Olympic team on Monday and now he has been honored by ECAC Hockey.

On Thursday, Donato was named both the ECAC Player of the Week and Player of the Month.  During the month of December Harvard only played four games, but Donato had eight goals and two assists. He had a pair of hat tricks and two game winning goals among the lot.

The 21-year-old Scituate, MA native was drafted by the Bruins in the second-round (56th overall) at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He has 46 goals and 81 points in 80 career NCAA games and has at least one point in 12 games for Harvard.  The junior leads the Crimson with 12 goals and 20 points.
