Boston might be the best sporting city in the world, and they have the stats to back it up. After the Boston Celtics won game seven to advance to the NBA Finals last night, the Red Sox of the MLB now have the longest drought of a final appearance, which is at three and a half years.
Boston sports fans have enjoyed 12 championships and 19 championship appearances since the year 2000, with the last championship win coming in 2018.
