Johnny Gaudreau shocked the hockey world when he signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets in free agency, and understandably, pissed off the majority of the Flames' fanbase.
And Monday night, Gaudreau will make his much anticipated return to Calgary, but his teammates made sure to get him ready beforehand.
As the Blue Jackets practiced in Calgary this morning, Gaudreau was met with boos from his teammates every time he touched the puck. That's most likely what he'll hear tonight from the crowd at the Saddledome.
''Johnny Hockey'' was drafted in the fourth round (104th overall) by the Flames and spent 9 years with the club. In 602 games with the club, he recorded 210 goals and 399 assists.
