The Bruins face the Islanders in a Saturday matinee showdown at the Garden.
The Boston Bruins (40-19-5) take on the New York Islanders (28-25-9) for the final time this season.
The Bruins lost the last game between both squads by a 4-1 score back in February. The B's also lost their previous encounter with the Isles in December, that time by a 3-1 score.
With a win today, Boston would push its latest win streak to four games.
Between the pipes, Boston will turn to goaltender
Linus Ullmark (19-9-2) for today's matchup, with
Jeremy Swayman set to take on the Leafs Tuesday night. The Islanders will start
Semyon Varlamov (6-12-2) in net today.
With no last-minute roster changes expected, the Bruins lines should look like this :
Linus Ullmark
Jeremy Swayman
Team captain Patrice Bergeron is back in the lineup after sitting out the past four games, just in time to face former Bruins captain Zdeno Chara.
