Major Development in Ryan Reynolds' Bid to Buy the Ottawa Senators
Reports first broke in the fall, that superstar Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds was heavily interested in purchasing and becoming a part owner, of the Ottawa Senators.
Reynolds Making Money Moves
Now, there has been a major development in Reynolds' attempt to buy the hockey club, as his ''group'' has sold a company, creating a significant extra flow of cash.
As per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman:
'' If there's any concern Ryan Reynolds would not be a serious bidder — that's over. He's very serious and he's very prepared. People who have heard his plan and seen what he's put together recognize this is not someone to be underestimated. His share of Mint Mobile, sold Wednesday to T-Mobile, was valued at $340M, according to reports.''
Reynolds is part of the Remington Group, which has allegedly made a serious offer for the franchise. Friedman continued:
''He's partnered with Remington Group. I'm not sure they had the highest bid, but they are competitive and determined. That's what this round is for, to sort this out.''
Reynolds would be a big face for the Senators, who are a team already on the rise with their on-ice play, and could have a very bright future ahead of them.
