The Boston Bruins will have a lot of holes to start the 2022-23 NHL season, and the free-agent board is full of valuable players, but they may come at too big of a price.
The Bruins were first linked to Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri a couple of weeks ago. According to NHL insiders Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman on their «32 Thought» podcast, the Bs are now linked to another free agent centre:
Vincent Trocheck had 21 goals and 30 assists in 81 games last season with the Carolina Hurricanes. The Pittsburgh native has been in the NHL since 2013-14 with the Hurricanes and Florida Panthers and has recorded 150 goals and 228 assists in 555 career games.
