The Winnipeg Jets could look drastically different next season.
Number one centre
Mark Scheifele has reportedly asked for a trade and youngster Pierre Luc-Dubois told management he will test free agency in 2024.
NHL insider Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff has now revealed that the team is looking to deal their captain Blake Wheeler as well.
''Wheeler could be the missing piece for a contending team as a point-per-game, play-driving winger with size and heart.''
It's unclear what the asking price is or what team's have shown interest but the Jets will receive a lot of calls on the veteran.
Perhaps a reunion in Boston?
Blake Wheeler played three seasons to start his NHL career with the Bruins. Recording 50 goals and 60 assists in 221 games.
