Boston Bruins fan base voices surprising take on goaltender Jeremy Swayman following a poll on social media, and it says their true feelings on how confident they are in their #1 netminder
The Boston Bruins' fan base has been on a rollercoaster of emotions since the Brad Marchand trade took place on the NHL trade deadline on March 7th, and now speculation arises on the roots of the remaining roster.
With Jeremy Swayman being the third highest paid Boston Bruin ($8,250,000) behind David Pastrnak (11,250,000) and Charlie McAvoy ($9,500,000), concerns arise as if he is worth the money, as he's had quite the up and down season so far.
Slight embarrassment from the Bruins vs Senators
While the Boston faced off against former goaltender, now the #1 netminder in Ottawa, Linus Ullmark, theBruins pulled Swayman, signalling Don Sweeney clearly made a mistake.
A recent poll revealed the true feelings of Bruins fans on having Swayman between the pipes, and it's not too confident.

The results are quite shaky, with the majority voting he may bounce back next season, but a whopping 46% believe his confidence is shattered in Boston.

«I answered "Have some concern" - My gut says this is a bad year, and he'll bounce without the "mess" happening all off season this year and the injuries in front of him

Swayman's mind must be quite boggled at the moment, with Don Sweeney's recent teardown in Boston and him signing a new extension with the team, clearly it was not what he was envisioning when negotiating with the Bruins.
