Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers receive massive news ahead of game 5 and it changes things

During game 2, Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers were hit with some terrible news when it was announced that Sam Reinhart left the game injured and would not return.

He took a hit from Sebastian Aho during the first period that would knock him out for the remainder of the game, and was later listed as day-to-day by head coach Paul Maurice.

Reinhart would end up missing game three as well, and there was some hope that he could be back for game 4.

Instead Reinhart was not able to return for game 4 either, and the Panthers were hit with some more bad news when it was revealed that both A.J. Greer and Niko Mikkola were also going to miss the game.

The Panthers were clearly missing their players as they ended up getting shut out by the Hurricanes 3-0, giving them their first ECF win in their last 15 games.

This morning, all three of Reinhart, Mikkola and Greer were on the ice for the Panthers, but it wasn't clear if they were going to play or not.

Following morning skate, Paul Maurice confirmed that all three players will be returning back to the lineup for the Panthers where they will look to eliminate the Hurricanes today.
