Boston Bruins fan favorite Brad Marchand has been trending all over the web after recently being traded by general manager Don Sweeney, and Bruins fans' hearts are shattered: he has now issued a message to those fans who are hurt over his departure
Florida Panthers visiting TD Garden to face off against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, Brad Marchand has issued a heartfelt statement to Bruins fans who are missing his presence.
Recently, it was revealed that Marchand was traded after an apparent contract dispute in Boston, where he and general manager Don Sweeney could not come to a set price tag.
That price tag was reportedly off by a small portion, and Don Sweeney seemed to not have cared about extending Marchand's contract in Boston, which has left many fans upset.
In response to the large fan base, who's entirety was upset, Marchand took the stand to address it to the Florida media when a reporter asked, 'What is your message to Bruins fans who are upset over the trade?'.
Sadly for fans, the Bruins' schedule does not see them facing off against the Panthers again this season.
With Marchand out of the lineup, a video tribute still could be displayed.
Marchand's teary-eyed message to Bruins fans will be held close to their hearts, as they deal with the loss of their glue.
