It hasn't been an easy past two weeks for Bruins fans, so let's focus on something more happy. Many older Bruins fans will remember the 1970's as some of the NHL's golden years, but perhaps none were more iconic than this one goal.
Bobby Orr Scores The Goal
Chances are, even if you weren't alive to witness "the goal", you've seen the legendary picture of Bobby Orr flying through the air. It's one of the most famous singular goals in NHL history, and led to the Bruins clinching a Stanley Cup victory over St. Louis.
It's only fitting that the greatest goal in NHL history was scored by arguably the greatest defenseman of all time. Various hockey outlets took the time today to honor Orr's greatest achievement.
