The Boston Bruins expected to lose Jaroslav Halak this offseason and now it's official.
According to Islanders' insider Arthur Staple, Halak has found a new home.
Staple reports that Halak is close to signing a deal with the Vancouver Canucks who bought out goalie Braden Holtby earlier today.
Halak has played a huge part in the B's success over the last couple of years and registered a .918 save percentage and 2.40 goals against average over three years in Boston.
We wish him the best on his new journey.
