As well roll through the month of August, Boston Bruins training camp and season is just around the corner.
The majority of the gang is back together for another Stanley Cup run but they'll have to do it without key contributors Tuukka Rask and David Krejci. There's still a chance that both somehow find their way back with the Bruins before the end of the season however as of now they're not members of the team.
With Rask having a better chance of returning than Krejci, general manager Don Sweeney added some depth pieces down the middle so head coach Bruce Cassidy can mix and match until he finds the right combination.
B's insider Fluto Shinzawa put together what he believes will likely be the opening night lines and roster.
When it comes to the goalie situation, Shinzawa believes that even though the Bruins paid up for Linus Ullmark, if Swayman can continue to show what he did during his 10 game stretch last year it's more than likely he can steal the starting gig.
What do you think of these lines? Is this what you would like to see opening night?
