Injuries Lead To An Emergency Recall From Providence

Last night's 3-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks proved to be a costly one as not only did it snap the Boston Bruins 18-game point streak, but both Anders Bjork and David Backes left the game with injuries.
Bjork appeared to be injure his shoulder or arm after a first period cross-check from Francois Beauchemin and did not return to the game. Bruce Cassidy told reporters after the game that Bjork will miss "some time" and the team recalled Peter Cehlarik form Providence on an emergency basis this morning.
Cassidy did not have an update for Backes last night, but he was back on the ice this morning leading the team in the pre-skate stretch. You figure it would take a lot for Backes to miss tomorrow's game against his old team, the St. Louis Blues.
