The Bruins will look to continue their 18-game point streak when the host the Ducks tonight. Anaheim won the first meeting back in November during the Bruins California trip.
The Ducks are in the bottom half of the league in both goals for and goals against, but a 6-3-1 stretch over their last 10 games have them right in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race. They enter tonight's game as one of four teams tied for the second wild card spot and are just one point behind the Calgary Flames for third place in the Pacific Division.
Goaltender
John Gibson was injured versus the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night, but he appears well enough to play against the Bruins. He will be opposed by former Duck Anton Khudobin.
We will see the same lineup in front of Khudobin that we saw against the Ottawa Senators last week.
Noel Acciari remains out with a lower-body injury while Brad Marchand is serving the second game of his five-game suspension. Anders Bjork and
Frank Vatrano will both remain in the lineup.
Charlie McAvoy will miss another game, but he was back on the ice on Monday, so hopefully he will be on track for a return soon.
