The Boston Bruins announced unfortunate news regarding winter Taylor Hall, who missed morning skate on Monday.
Jim Montgomery confirmed Hall's cause of absence, as per Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic:
Taylor Hall (lower body) has returned to Boston. Jim Montgomery does not classify it as serious.
Bad news that Hall is injured enough to miss the last two games of the Western road trip, but it doesn't sound ''serious'' as Shinzawa reported.
The 31-year-old has 16 goals and 20 assists in 58 games for the Bruins this season.
The Bruins are set to play the Edmonton Oilers tonight, the team that drafted Hall first overall back in 2010. The road trip is ending tomorrow night against the Calgary Flames.
