Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney has some big roster changes coming, but it's not going to be this year.
During free agency, the Boston Bruins ended up making some moves, but fans were not too happy with them.
Bruins to make big moves in the 2026 off-season
According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Boston Bruins are setting up for some massive changes next year.
«If some of these guys who are supposed to be free agents next year I think Boston wants to have the opportunity to take a shot at one of those guys,» Friedman said, as transcribed by Paul Griser of Pro Hockey Rumors.
The Bruins off-season moves confirm this as well. Arvidsson was acquired via a trade with a low AAV on his contract, and his deal set to end after next season.
Jeannot's contract raised eyebrows because of the term on his deal, he will fit in perfectly with his physicalness.
It's unclear if any of them are going to make it to the open market, but Elliotte Friedman confirmed the Bruins are going to make some big swings.
