BREAKING: Boston Bruins place forward on waivers
Multiple moves were made in the NHL today surrounding the waiver wire, including the Bruins who waived a forward.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman shared the news:
Benn (TOR) & Lettieri (BOS) on waivers
Lettieri, 28, signed a one-year, two-way contract on July 13th, 2022. In 41 games with the Providence Bruins, he recorded 16 goals and 21 assists. Lettieri was leading the club prior to sustaining an injury in his first practice after a call up to the NHL.
Not mentioned by Friedman was that the New York Rangers placed forward Jake Leschyshyn on waivers, as well.

St. Louis claims Kasperi Kapanen off waivers from Pittsburgh.
